From a dog collar to an iconic piece – the CDC

The Collier de Chien, often referred to as CDC, is the most iconic jewelry piece by the Parisienne fashion house. The equestrian inspired brand invented the CDC not for its female customers but originally for a bulldog of one of their clients in Paris in 1923. Quickly the bulldog with the collar became known in Paris and customers asked for the same collar to put around their waist to use it as a belt. However, it was not until 1940 that Hermes introduced the famous CDC bracelet collection. Today the design is still the same and the piece is worn by Nicky Hilton, Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and many more

How to wear it? The piece is really big and opulent so I personally wear it with as little other jewelry as possible. Also the leather is super sensitive so watch out when washing or moisturising your hands.
