3D PRINTED JEWELRY

Jewelry is not only about design - it´s also about the technique as such. After all, jewely is a handicraft. Meeting the young Berlin-based designer couple Nicole Nitz and Sandro Schieck at Inhorgenta last year I was fascinated since then by their 3d printed jewelry. Curious about how the jewelry actually feels like, they sent me their collection. Holding these pieces made of nylon in my hands, I was surprised by the versatility of this material:  3D printed nylon is a light yet strong and flexible material that can resist pressure while being bent. The rings and bracelets inspired by the cut of a diamond come in vibrant colors and definitely give you an interesting twist in combination with wearing your traditional gold jewelry.
